Mark Ritsema and I were invited to return to the Festival Internationale della Letteratura Resistente in Tuscany this year, where we would celebrate the release by Stampa Alternativa of my book GUITAR ARMY in the Italian translation by Alberto Prunetti and stage the World Premiere screening of TWENTY TO LIFE: The Life & Times of John Sinclair, finally completed after 16 years in the making, with the filmmaker, Steve Gebhardt, also on hand to join the festivities. Our friend Vito Laterza, in the middle of two years of post-graduate studies in Swaziland, Africa, flew in for the event and conducted the formal presentation of GUITAR ARMY at the Libri Stampa Alternativa, then accompanied us back to our superb lodgings at Fabio’s B & B Il Pittolo. to produce this episode of my radio show with live music by Mark Ritsema and trumpeter Angelo Olivieri, a long conversation with Steve Gebhardt about the movie, and some discussion with Pitigliano resident Angelo Olivieri.
