I also didn't know their history & the guys who saw the opportunity to use this guys. I must say it helped to transform & diversify the raggae sound & now the DJ are on par with the singers. I think some of them are richer than the singers. But all in all Jamica has the best singers in the world voices like Johnny Clark, Linval Thompson, Michael Cooper, Wiston Jarret, Roy Cousin etc & the gravel one of Prince Far I they stood the test of time.
