Our episode for this sunny Saturday afternoon, the first real day of spring in Amsterdam, takes place at Eat at Jo’s in the Melkweg with our guests from Paris, Marc Zermati of SkyDog Records and Philippe Manoeuvre of Rock & Folk magazine along with his photographer Chloe. Marc and Philippe are both maniacal Detroit rock & roll fanatics anmd we listened to some vintage MC-5 as well as cuts from the Marc’s album of the Stooges “live” in Tokyo in 2004 called Tellurian Chaos and sides by Bob Seger, George Clinton, John Sinclair & Mark Ritsema, the Detroit Artists Workshop Music Ensemble, the Rev. Jack Van Impe, and another one of Marc’s recording artists, the Legendary Tiger Man to take us out.
