This week I had the pleasure of heading over to London to serve as an informant for a BBC film production centered on the year 1968 and to spend a few days in residence with my friends at the HeadPress bunker in London’s North End. On Sunday evening I succeeded in getting HeadPress managing director Nick Smith to sit down with me and make an episode of the radio show for Radio Free Amsterdam. We enjoyed a couple of good conversations and listened to music by Sun Ra & His Arkestra, Dr. John, Miles Davis, Bob Dylan, John Sinclair & His Blues Scholars, Thelonious Monk, the Lyman Woodard Organization, and the John Coltrane Quartet.
