Frankie’s heard with the Paul Whiteman Orchestra from 1929 with a young Bing Crosby on vocals, with the Frank Trumbauer Orchestra with Smith Ballou on vocals; and with Joe Venuti’s Blue 4: Frankie’s bandmates include Venuti, Eddie Lang, Bill Cody, and a young Ms. Mildred Bailey.
