The central piece of this episode took place at the OCCII club in Amsterdam as part of the European Sound Delta project organized here by our friends Olivier Forest & Eric Devoran of Panic City Radio in Paris, featuring a duet performance by Baba Israel and myself and accompaniment by a Boston band called Bone Rattle that played after us. The balance of the program features saxophonist, flutist & poet Elliott Levin in concert with bassist Jair-Rohm Parker Wells, poet Philly Hayden and myself at the 420 Café on Sunday 17 August, following our opening music by Elliott’s band New Ghost from its ESP-Disk release Live Upstairs at Nick’s.
