Radio Free Genoa Poetry
The fourth episode of Radio Free Genoa Poetry was conducted at the Café Mentelocale in Genoa prior to my performance this evening at the Palazzalo Ducale and features an interview with Suji Kwock Kim, an Korean-American poet here to read from her book Notes from the Divided Country at the Festivale Internazionale di Poesie di Genova, along with music by Hound Dog Taylor & the Houserockers, Harmonica Shah, Thornetta Davis, Marvin Gaye, Nina Simone, Kirk Joseph & Backyard Groove, Nawfel, Howlin’ Wolf, John Sinclair & Gilles Riberolles, Bob Dylan, and George Clinton.
