John Sinclair Radio Show #280

Bohemian National Home –
Sunday, September 13, 2009 @ 1:30-2:30 am [20-0939]
Detroit, US.

Now we’re back on our regular weekly schedule for the John Sinclair Radio Show and I’m broadcasting from my residence at the Bohemian National Home in Detroit all this month. Today I have Juan Carlos Hearn on the mike, a painter and muralist from the immediate neighborhood on the west side of Detroit who is serving as the Artist in Residence at the BoHouse while he completes a gigantic mural project on the wall of a local supermarket. We enjoy great conversation and listen to music by Miles Davis & John Coltrane, Chris Kenner, Archibald, Dr. John, Little Willie John, and a long baseball set in honor of the first-place Detroit Tigers with Ed Moss & the Society Jazz Orchestra, Buddy Johnson, Les Brown, Sam Bush, Mabel Scott, Sister Wynona Carr, The Treniers, and the Motor City Blues Scholars.
