I’m in New York City this week to do some shows and visit friends, and I met with the writer Tony O’Neill on Thursday night for dinner at the Acme and dessert at Think Coffee around the corner at Bleecker and the Bowery, where I broke open my laptop and put together this episode of the radio show with music selected by Tony himself by Cecil Taylor, Prince Jammy, Muddy Waters, Clarence “Frogman” Henry, Screamin’ Lord Sutch, Oscar Strickland III, Chet Baker, John Sinclair & His Motor City Blues Scholars featuring Jeff “Baby” Grand, King Mellow Yellow, and the late great Johnny Adams.
