Our second Cannabis Cup 2009 broadcast from the Cannabis College in Amsterdam continues our celebration of the Fifth Anniversary of the John Sinclair Radio Show since we launched this project at Coffeeshop Amnesia on November 22, 2004. This episode features regular Cannabis Cup guests Rev. Ferre van Beveren, Jeff Kabik, Merll Truesdale, and Kenny Post, and there’s recorded music by Coleman Hawkins & Thelonious Monk, Earl Williams with Lee Allen’s Orchestra, Was (Not Was), Faith, Joe Tex, Ike & Tina Turner, Lee “Scratch” Perry, Esther Phillips, John Sinclair & His Blues Scholars, and Los Marijuanos from their new album, plus a pair of spectral appearances by the late Eagle Bill and the late Cannabis Poet, Mr. Lee Bridges, and a “live” number by Kenny Post.
