That reading is the centerpiece of this episode, preceded by music by Detroit’s own Pat in the Hat from his new Funky D Records CD, a live cut by me with Harmonica Shah and his band in Ann Arbor last July, and some improvisational beat-box music from Thumpah Lee, and followed by the Trevor Menear reading of the Lennon tune and a duet performance of my poem for Lennon called “Friday the 13th” with Jair-Rohm Wells on bass, recorded in London last month.
