Sweet potato burritos
You need:8 sweet potatoes2 onionscelery2 sweet red peppersgrated gingerdry coriandercardomoncumincaraway seedfresh parsleycilantrolime juice2 cans of mexican beansflower tortilla wraps8 sweet potatoes, peeled and cubed. Bake with a little olive oil, garlic, salt and pepper until soft.About 2 onions, celery, two sweet red peppers, grated ginger, dry coriander, cardomon, bit of cumin and caraway seed, fresh parsley and cilantro, bit of lime juice. Add a couple of cans of mexican beans, mix together. Put in soft flour tortilla wraps. Bake in oven with cheese on top. Serve with salsa, guacamole, sour cream. This recipe is vegan without the sour cream and cheese. Or serve with a peanut sauce.
Spinach sauce
You need:2 liters of creamvegetable bouillonsauted onions and celerytarragonparsleyrosemarythymegarlicsaltpepper1 bag frozen spinachHave some grated cheese set aside. Not to strong; cheddar, jonge cheese or swiss.Throw all ingredients in a pot. Bubble away for about 20 minutes. Get out the great secret weapon – the staff blender! Blend well. should not be so thick, if so add a little cream or bouillon. At this point add the final touch. Grated cheddar, jonge and swiss cheese. Let simmer. Stir often, don’t leave it alone until the cheese has melted into the sauce or it will burn at the bottom of the pot and piss you off since you have had to work so hard on this one!

You need:
pot of good ole mashed potatoes
cooked onions
butter
salt
pepper
sour cream? (maybe)
touch of Dijon mustard ? (maybe)
sour kraut (not to much)
Mix this all into a scary heap. Make a large lake in the middle. Fill with gravy. Secure a 1/2 Rookworst on top with 2 pieces of bacon. Sounds crazy but it’s a lot of peoples favorite on a cold day in Amsterdam, this is how they eat around here.
Corn Chowder
You need:
onions
garlic
olive oil
vegetable bouillon
bag or two of frozen corn
thyme
oregano
marjoran
cumin
caraway seed
chopped celery
couple of peppers (green, yellow and red)
fresh parsley
corriander
salt
pepper
cook onions, potatoes, garlic and bouillon ready to bubble away.at this point throw in a bag of frozen corn. and a bit of thyme, oregano, marjoran, rosemary, cumin and caraway seed. Cook on stove at a slow simmer for 30 to 40 minutes. Flavors are now integrated and working together!
